Service providers choose Edgecore Wi-Fi because the full-stack solution gives them network infrastructure they can scale and run profitably: cloud management, Wi-Fi, switching, gateways, and IoT, working as one system. The natural next question is an operational one: how does this fit into the management platform my team already runs?
MSP Integration API is our answer. It brings ecCLOUD, the platform managing your entire Edgecore network, directly into your existing dashboard. And it does it in a smarter way than traditional integration projects.
Your Network, Your Dashboard
If you operate multiple networks, your central management dashboard is where your team lives. Every service you run should be visible there, and a new Edgecore deployment is no exception. From day one, your sites, devices, and network status should show up right where your team already looks.
That’s exactly what MSP Integration API is built for. Your dashboard stays the center of your operations, and your Edgecore network takes its place inside it.
A Smarter Way to Integrate
Traditional integration projects mean long spec discussions, custom connector development, and weeks of back and forth. We built something better: a complete integration toolkit designed for how engineering teams actually work today, including with AI.
The toolkit centers on two documents:
- MSP.md: the integration guide, covering setup steps, authentication, and working examples
- v1.yml: the full OpenAPI specification for ecCLOUD
Both are written to be complete enough that an engineer, or an AI coding tool, can take them and build a working integration without guesswork. Hand them to your AI tool of choice along with your portal’s source code, describe what you want, and the integration takes shape in front of you. It’s the kind of option you’d expect from a vendor keeping pace with how modern teams build, and we’re glad to be the ones offering it.
How the Integration Works
- Find MSP Integration in your API Keys page. In ecCLOUD, go to Manage Clouds, open your cloud’s API Keys page, and you’ll see the MSP Integration section.
- Download the documentation. MSP.md and v1.yml are right there in the same section.
- Generate your MSP API Key. A dedicated key for this integration, managed separately from your standard ecCLOUD API keys.
- Hand it to your AI tool. Upload the MSP documentation along with your own portal’s source code. Ask it to integrate the ecCLOUD site list and device list into your existing pages, using the Base URL and API Key from your MSP documentation.
- Deploy and connect. Add the generated code to your project, set your ecCLOUD Base URL (with /api/v2 appended), your API Key, and your Cloud ID.
- Verify. Refresh your portal and check that your sites and devices show up correctly, matching what you see in ecCLOUD.

How Fast Is Fast?
Picture a provider managing tens of thousands of access points through ecCLOUD, and a portal their team has used for years. With the MSP toolkit and an AI coding tool, connecting the two is no longer a project on a roadmap. A job that used to take weeks of engineering time now fits comfortably inside an hour, because every step of the process is clearly documented and simple to follow.
In our own testing, the fastest complete run took just 8 minutes.
And honestly, our team thinks 8 minutes can be beaten. At this point the bottleneck might just be typing speed. If you set a faster time, we’d genuinely love to hear about it.
New to Edgecore? Here’s What You’d Be Plugging In
If this is your first look at Edgecore, the integration is only part of the story. What connects into your dashboard is a complete network solution: ecCLOUD cloud management, enterprise Wi-Fi access points, switches, gateways, and Wi-Fi HaLow for IoT connectivity. One stack, one management view, built for providers who need their infrastructure to scale and their services to stay profitable.
So while MSP Integration API makes the connection fast, what it connects is the bigger reason to take a look.
Available Now
MSP Integration API is available in ecCLOUD today, included with your existing account at no extra cost. It’s already in your console: open your cloud’s API Keys page, download the documentation, generate your key, and start whenever you’re ready.
