How to Manage IoT Devices in ecCLOUD
Managing IoT devices in ecCLOUD is simple and intuitive. This functionality is available on most of Edgecore Wi-Fi’s APs. Follow these steps to add and control your devices:
- Navigate to the Device Menu in ecCLOUD and select the AP to which the IoT device is connected.
- In the Configuration Settings, select IoT
- Click Add New IoT Device, then enter the QR code of the IoT device and choose the appropriate SSID for the IoT connection.
- Once added, the device will automatically be managed through ecCLOUD.
Administrators can monitor active IoT devices from the Device Dashboard, where they can view status, connection details, and adjust settings as needed. As shown in the example below, after adding a sensor and a smart power switch, the dashboard enables direct control of these IoT devices from within ecCLOUD, ensuring a seamless IoT management experience.
