Edgecore Wi-Fi 6 AP with Wedge Networks WedgeCND™
Wedge Cloud Network Defense (WedgeCND™), a cloud-managed, cloud-enforced security service offering that provides a vast array of optimized Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS), is available as an add-on for Edgecore’s Wi-Fi 6 series access points through its ecCLOUD cloud controller. The WedgeCND™ enables effective security solutions for any cloud-connected computing device, providing scalability, flexibility, and accuracy for any location using Wi-Fi access point while still maintaining privacy. When WedgeCND Security Add-on is enabled on the ecCLOUD, Internet access from the AP will automatically be protected. All types of threats, such as malware, ransomware, phishing, malicious websites, will be filtered and the network and endpoints behind the AP will receive clean Internet traffic.

Key Benefits
The WedgeCND™ Security Add-on is applied to the supported Edgecore's Access Point devices. When the AP is registered to the Edgecore ecCLOUD, customers can activate the Security Add-on service online. Once the service is activated, all users connecting to the AP device will receive network security protection provided by WedgeCND. Registered customers will receive regular security event reports. Customers can also easily deactivate the Security Add-on service online.
